The Fortress of Cortona; 

the epitome of "world no more"

sits high up on a ridge of Monte Sant'Egidio, 

looking over the Val di Chiana.

​

Behind the walls of her fortress, 

it's as if you've stepped into another time; 

the time of ancient Italy of the Etruscan.​

​

So, walk through the passage of time 

and feel the atmospheric mood of 

Under the Tuscan Sun in a city known as

“Mother of Troy and Grandmother of Rome".
